For most of my life, I have only known 1 caterer, and that’s Elsie’s Kitchen http://www.elsiekitchen.com.sg/. They have a pretty good variety and I guess without having tried others, they were our usual choice. At my job, we organise lots of seminars and events and I have gotten acquainted with other caterers such as Purple Sage http://www.purplesage.com.sg/, Select Catering http://www.select.com.sg/index.htm, etc. Recently, for my brother’s 21st birthday, we decided to try my cousin’s regular – Chilli Padi http://www.chillipadi.com.sg/ and it was pretty good.
I would recommend them for a different buffet affair aside from the usual chinese cuisine or western fare. Their Peranakan menu has a wide variety and good quality in terms of taste and presentation. In particular, my favourite has to be the Assam Fish Fillet. The gravy was awesome and the fish was fresh and as a whole, it was really YUMMY. A must order!
